A dynamic role with diverse responsibilities
The role of a Welding Technician at Weldmij is anything but monotonous. Lianne talks about her main responsibilities and daily tasks: “My main task is ensuring quality. Everything must be right at the end of the day, both the practical execution and the documentation. My daily tasks vary widely. From recording welding parameters during WPQR welding, overseeing welders during WPQ welding, to monitoring compliance with procedures during projects. If something doesn’t go according to plan, it’s up to me to come up with appropriate solutions.”
The path to Weldmij and the attraction of the company
Lianne found her way to Weldmij through an encounter with an employee at another workplace. Her interest was piqued, and after some research, she decided to apply. She explains:
“I started working at Weldmij because I want to achieve the highest level in welding quality assurance. There are plenty of opportunities here to continue learning and growing.”
