For butt welding (BW) up to 100 mm and fillet welding (FW) starting from 5 mm, Royal Niestern Sander can handle any desired position with ease! Weldmij had the opportunity to collaborate with Alfred Andreae and Kris Klasens on an expansion of the validity ranges compared to the existing welding procedure qualifications.

For processes 111, 136, and 138, there has been a minimum quadrupling of the existing wall thickness range, without compromising on the diameter range and positions! All in accordance with the current ISO 15614-1, BV, and LR Rules.

Niestern Sander has been meeting the manual skill requirements for many years. Now, they have also demonstrated more than sufficient mechanical requirements. Notably, 56 hours of welding, extensive non-destructive and destructive examinations on 11 test pieces were conducted, with no need for retesting anywhere!
