With ultimate dedication, she fulfils her role, facing various challenges daily. Let’s dive deeper into Lianne’s experiences and her view on working at Weldmij.<\/p>\n

A dynamic role with diverse responsibilities<\/h2>\n

The role of a Welding Technician at Weldmij is anything but monotonous. Lianne talks about her main responsibilities and daily tasks: \u201cMy main task is ensuring quality. Everything must be right at the end of the day, both the practical execution and the documentation. My daily tasks vary widely. From recording welding parameters during WPQR welding, overseeing welders during WPQ welding, to monitoring compliance with procedures during projects. If something doesn’t go according to plan, it’s up to me to come up with appropriate solutions.\u201d<\/p>\n

The path to Weldmij and the attraction of the company<\/h2>\n

Lianne found her way to Weldmij through an encounter with an employee at another workplace. Her interest was piqued, and after some research, she decided to apply. She explains:<\/p>\n

\u201cI started working at Weldmij because I want to achieve the highest level in welding quality assurance. There are plenty of opportunities here to continue learning and growing.\u201d<\/h3>\n

A warm welcome and a familiar introduction<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Upon her start, Lianne experienced a warm welcome and a smooth introduction. \u201cMy introduction was very familiar. Colleagues were always ready to help, and I had plenty of opportunities to shadow different departments. This onboarding program provided me with a solid foundation to carry out my work well.\u201d<\/p>\n

What makes Weldmij unique as a workplace?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

For Lianne, Weldmij is a unique workplace because of the freedom and opportunities it offers.
\n\u201cWeldmij is a place where you can grow and learn. The combination of practice and theory gives me a broad foundation. Additionally, there is an informal and educational atmosphere, which contributes to my personal development.\u201d<\/p>\n

The challenges and rewards of the work<\/h2>\n

There are plenty of challenges for Lianne, but the biggest challenge is to become the very best in her field. As a reward, she enjoys excellent training opportunities and good employment conditions.<\/p>\n

A close-knit team and an informal atmosphere<\/h2>\n

The team at Weldmij is always there for each other, even on weekends. Lianne greatly values the collegiality and considers her colleagues as her work family.<\/p>\n

Opportunities for growth and development at Weldmij<\/h2>\n

Lianne has already completed several training programs at Weldmij, and there are more opportunities ahead. Both technically and personally, there are plenty of opportunities to grow. Right after Lianne’s start, she was able to achieve the ‘VTw2’ certification and complete her ‘IWS’ training. Now she is busy with the ‘IWT’ training and then she can move on to the ‘IWI-C’ training.<\/p>\n

Important skills for success<\/h2>\n

According to Lianne, knowledge of both theory and practice, people skills, and good communication skills are essential to be successful in her role as a Welding Technician at Weldmij.<\/p>\n
